INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ABS WARNING LIGHT


    1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    3. Check that the ABS warning light comes on.

      OK
      ABS warning light comes on.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN SKID CONTROL ECU AND COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) Click here

    OK

    REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN SKID CONTROL ECU AND COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01BFFXE07

      Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Disconnect the combination meter connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      B19-13 (WA) - H20-39 (S) Below 1 Ω
      B19-13 (WA) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY


    1. Check the combination meter Click here.
