REAR SHOCK ABSORBER INSTALLATION


  1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BEU8E01

      Install the 2 rear shock absorber bushings on the rear shock absorber.

      Note

      Be careful of size differences between the upper and lower rear shock absorber bushings.

      Tech Tips

      If the rear shock absorber bushing is separated, install it as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01BHFTE01

      Install the cushion washer No.2.

    3. Temporarily tighten the upper side of the rear shock absorber assembly with the bolt.

    4. A01BG17E01

      Install the cushion washer No.4.

    5. Temporarily tighten the lower side of the rear shock absorber assembly with the bolt.

  2. STABILIZE SUSPENSION


    1. After lowering the vehicle, bounce the vehicle up and down to stabilize the rear suspension.

  3. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BAW2

      Fully tighten the bolt on the upper side.

      Torque:
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01BATR

      Fully tighten the bolt on the lower side.

      Torque:
      43 N*m  { 440 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
