REAR LEAF SPRING REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REAR SPRING LEAF BUSHING


    1. A01BD7VE01

      Install a new bushing to the leaf spring.


      1. Install the bushing, aligning with the matchmarks so that the openings are facing as shown in the illustration.

        Note

        Be sure to install each bushing to the correct positions.

    2. Use the SST and press, press both bushings into the leaf spring.

      Note

      Align the SST, which presses the bushing, to the outer casing of the bushing.

  2. INSTALL REAR SPRING SILENCER


    1. A01BBSB

      Install the 2 rear spring silencers with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      38 N*m  { 388 kgf*cm, 28 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR SPRING SILENCER NO.1

  4. REASSEMBLY REAR LEAF SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the spacer on the leaf spring.

    2. Secure the leaf spring in a vise using aluminum plates. Temporarily install the center bolt and nut.

    3. A01BALN

      Use a vise with aluminum plates to cramp the spring clip.

    4. A01BD5H

      Hold the center bolt with pliers and tighten the nut.

      Torque:
      49 N*m  { 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL LEAF SPRING DYNAMIC DAMPER (FOR VAN WITH DYNAMIC DAMPER)


    1. A01BG8X

      Install the leaf spring dynamic damper with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL REAR SPRING CLIP BOLT CASE (FOR VAN WITHOUT DYNAMIC DAMPER)


    1. A01BHD6E01

      Install the rear spring clip bolt case with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL LEAF SPRING DYNAMIC DAMPER ASSEMBLY (FOR COMMUTER WITH DYNAMIC DAMPER)


    1. A01BGHV

      Install the leaf spring dynamic damper assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR LEAF SPRING DYNAMIC DAMPER BRACKET (FOR COMMUTER WITHOUT DYNAMIC DAMPER)


    1. A01BBIS

      Install the rear leaf spring dynamic damper bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }
