DISPOSE OF FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER
With the piston rod extended, hold the front shock absorber obliquely in a vise.
Using a saw or cutting tools, slowly make a hole at approximately 20 mm (0.79 in.) from the weld in the lower end of the front shock absorber to discharge the gas inside.
Note
The gas is colorless, odorless and harmless.
Cover the saw or cutting tools with a shop rug or a piece of cloth to prevent shards of metal from flying about when discharging the gas.
