INPUT SHAFT REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL INPUT SHAFT FRONT BEARING


    1. A01BC14

      Using SST and a press, press in a new input shaft front bearing.

      SST
      09316-60011   ( 09316-00031 )
    2. A01BGC5

      Select a snap ring that will allow minimum amount of axial play.

      Standard clearance
      0.1 mm (0.0039 in.) or less
      Front bearing shaft snap ring thickness
      Mark Thickness: mm (in.)
      0 2.05 to 2.10 (0.0807 to 0.0827)
      1 2.10 to 2.15 (0.0827 to 0.0847)
      2 2.15 to 2.20 (0.0847 to 0.0866)
      3 2.20 to 2.25 (0.0866 to 0.0886)
      4 2.25 to 2.30 (0.0886 to 0.0906)
      5 2.30 to 2.35 (0.0906 to 0.0925)

      Using a snap ring expander, install the snap ring.

  2. INSTALL INPUT SHAFT BEARING


    1. A01BF3X

      Coat the 13 input shaft bearings with MP grease, install them to the input shaft.

  3. INSTALL SYNCHRONIZER RING NO.2


    1. A01BHE1

      Coat the synchronizer ring No.2 with gear oil, and install it to the input shaft.
