SUN GEAR AND ONE-WAY CLUTCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ONE WAY CLUTCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BHIHE02

      Hold the planetary sun gear, and turn the 1 way clutch assembly Check that the 1 way clutch assembly hub can be freely clockwise and locked counterclockwise.

  2. INSPECT PLANETARY SUN GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BHWR

      Using a dial indicator, measure the inside diameter of the planetary sun gear bushings.

      Maximum inside diameter
      27.08 mm (1.0661 in.)

      If the inside diameter is greater than the maximum, replace the planetary sun gear.

  3. INSPECT ONE WAY CLUTCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BHIHE02

      Hold the planetary sun gear, and turn the 1 way clutch assembly. Check that the 1 way clutch assembly hub can be turned freely clockwise and locked counterclockwise.
