VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION WIRE

  2. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and valve body oil strainer assembly.

      Note

      Be careful as some fluid will leak out of the oil strainer.

    2. Remove the 3 gaskets from the valve body oil strainer assembly.

  3. REMOVE OVERDRIVE BRAKE TUBE

      Pry out both overdrive brake tube ends with a large screwdriver and remove the overdrive brake tube.

  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 17 bolts and transmission valve body assembly.
