GENERATOR DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REAR END COVER

      Remove the nut and terminal insulator.

    2. Remove the bolt, 3 nuts, plate terminal, and rear end cover.

  2. REMOVE BRUSH HOLDER AND REGULATOR


    1. Remove the brush holder cover.

      Remove the 2 screws and brush holder.

    3. Remove the seal plate.

    4. Remove the 3 screws and regulator.

  3. REMOVE GENERATOR HOLDER W/ RECTIFIER

      Remove the 4 screws and generator holder w/ rectifier.

    2. Remove the 4 rubber insulators.

  4. REMOVE RECTIFIER END FRAME

      Remove the 4 nuts and cord clamp.

    2. A01BAO5E02

      Using SST, remove the rectifier end frame.

    3. Remove the washer from the rotor.

  5. REMOVE GENERATOR ROTOR ASSEMBLY

      Using SST and press, press out the rotor.
