STARTER (for 2.0 kW Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the starter wire harness with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the starter connector.

    4. Close the terminal cap.

    5. Connect the ground cable and wiring harness clamp bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 251 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE UNDER COVER RH (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

    Torque:
    13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE UNDER COVER LH (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

    Torque:
    13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

    Torque:
    13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
