RADIATOR DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR DRAIN COCK PLUG


    1. Remove the drain cock plug.

    2. Remove the O-ring.

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER TANK PIPE

      Remove the 3 bolts and the radiator upper tank pipe.

    2. Remove the O-ring.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR LOWER TANK PIPE

      Remove the 3 bolts and the No. 1 radiator lower tank pipe.

    2. Remove the O-ring.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR LOWER TANK PIPE

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Separate the hose clamp and remove the No. 2 radiator lower tank pipe.

  5. ASSEMBLE SST


    1. A01BC17E07

      Install the claw to part A of the overhaul handle as shown in the illustration.

      09230-01010   ( 09231-01010, 09231-01030 )

    2. While squeezing the handle, adjust the stopper bolt so that dimension B is as specified below.

      Dimension B
      0.2 to 0.3 mm (0.008 to 0.012 in.)

  6. UNCAULK LOCK PLATE

      Using SST to release the caulking, squeeze the handle until stopped by the stopper bolt.

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR TANK UPPER AND TANK LOWER

      Lightly tap the bracket of the radiator (or radiator hose inlet or outlet) with a plastic-faced hammer and remove the tanks.

    2. Remove the O-ring.
