SUB RADIATOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    CAUTION:

    Do not remove the radiator cap while the engine and radiator are still hot. Pressurized, hot engine coolant and steam may be released and cause serious burns.


    1. Remove the radiator cap.

    2. Loosen the radiator drain cock plug and a cylinder block drain cock plug. Then drain the coolant.

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.

    2. Release the 6 claws and 4 clips and remove the radiator grille.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL UPPER (w/o Intercooler)

  5. REMOVE AIR INLET DUCT NO.1 (w/ Intercooler)

  6. REMOVE AIR INLET DUCT NO.2 (w/ Intercooler)

  7. REMOVE STEP PLATE COVER LH

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. Release the claw and remove the step plate cover.

  8. REMOVE STEP PLATE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedures as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER

      Remove the 8 clips and 3 bolts.

    2. Release the 12 claws and remove the bumper.

    3. Disconnect the connectors. (w/ fog light)

  10. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock support brace sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01BBEZ

      Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock assembly.

    2. Remove the hood lock assembly from the hood lock control cable assembly.

  13. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER

      Remove the 6 bolts and radiator support upper.

  14. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the bolt and radiator reserve tank assembly.

  15. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

  16. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the bolt and the high pitched horn assembly.

  17. REMOVE SUB RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 2 sub radiator hoses from the radiator assembly.

    2. A01BF9CE01

      Disconnect the connector from the sub radiator fan motor.

    3. Remove the bolts and sub radiator assembly.

  18. REMOVE W/MOTOR FAN ASSEMBLY NO.2


    1. Remove the bolt and w/ motor fan assembly No.2 from the sub radiator assembly.
