VENTILATION VALVE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the ventilation valve.


      1. A01BA5U

        Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the valve.

        Adhesive
        Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, THREE BOND 1324 or equivalent
      2. A01BB9U

        Install the ventilation valve.

        Torque:
        5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve.

    3. Secure the hose with the clamp.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the engine service hole sub cover with the 5 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Hi-back Seat Type)


    1. Perform the same procedure as above on the opposite side. Click here

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Low-back Seat Type)


    1. Perform the same procedure as above on the opposite side. Click here
