HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT OXYGEN SENSOR


    1. Inspect the sensor heater.

        Measure the resistance between terminals 1 (HT) and 2 (+B) of the sensor.

        Standard resistance
        11 to 16 Ω at 20°C (68°F)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the oxygen sensor.

      2. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 (HT) and 4 (E1) of the sensor.

        Standard resistance
        10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the oxygen sensor.
