AIR SWITCHING VALVE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. Check for an open in the air switching valve assembly circuit.


      1. A01BAJZ

        Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard resistance
        4.5 to 5.5 Ω at 20 °C (68 °F)

        If the resistance is not as specified, replace the air switching valve assembly.

    2. Inspect the air switching valve assembly operation.


      1. A01BEAGE01

        Check that air does not flow from the ports.

      2. Apply battery positive voltage across the terminals.

      3. Check that air flows from the ports.

        If operation is not as specified, replace the air switching valve assembly.
