AIR SWITCHING VALVE REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  5. REMOVE ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Roll up the carpet, and remove the 5 bolts and engine service hole sub cover.

  6. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER


    1. Roll up the floor carpet.

    2. Remove the battery service hole cover.

  7. REMOVE AIR PUMP INLET PIPE

      *2 Air Pump Inlet Pipe
      *3 No. 6 Air Hose

      Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 6 air hose.

    2. Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 5 air hose.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and air pump inlet pipe.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  9. REMOVE NO. 4 INTAKE PIPE

      Remove the 4 nuts and No. 4 intake pipe.

    2. Remove the 2 gaskets.

  10. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BCKDE02

      Disconnect the air switching valve connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and air switching valve assembly.
