DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR (for DPF) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the No. 7 exhaust pipe air hose from the sensor.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      Using SST, gradually increase the pressure from 0 kPa to 100 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm2, 14.5 psi).

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D75-7 (PEX) - D75-14 (EPEX) 0 kPa 0.75 V

      20 kPa (0.2 kgf/cm2, 2.9 psi)

      		 1.53 V

      100 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm2, 14.5 psi)

      		 4.65 V

      If the result is not as specified, replace the differential pressure sensor.

    5. Connect the No. 7exhaust air hose to the differential pressure sensor.
