ROOF WINDOW FIX GLASS REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING GARNISH (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)

      Detach the 18 clips and remove the rear roof headlining garnish.

  2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING GARNISH (w/o Rear Air Conditioning System)

      Detach the 18 clips and remove the rear roof headlining garnish.

  3. REMOVE ROOF WINDOW FIX GLASS


    1. A01BDG8

      Apply protective tape to the outer surface of the vehicle body to prevent scratches.

    2. From the interior, insert piano wires between the vehicle body and roof window fix glass as shown in the illustration.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to all wire ends.

      Note

      When separating the roof window fix glass from the vehicle paint or interior/exterior ornaments.

    4. Cut through the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the roof window fix glass.

      Using a suction cup, disengage the 4 clips and remove the roof window fix glass.

      Note

      Leave as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible when removing the roof window fix glass.
