REAR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

    2. A01BA80E01

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. A01BF4Z

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE


    1. A01BBWNE01

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 7 clips and 4 claws and remove the back door scuff plate.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

  4. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY REAR LH


    1. A01BFM6

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 35 clips and remove the quarter trim panel assembly rear LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH


    1. A01BFP3E02

      Release the 6 clips and remove the quarter pillar garnish LH.

  6. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER UPPER LH


    1. A01BCRQ

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 6 clips and remove the roof side garnish inner upper LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  7. REMOVE EMERGENCY HAMMER CAUTION PLATE (w/ Emergency Hammer Caution Plate)

    Tech Tips


    • If a emergency hammer caution plate is damaged, replace it with a new one.

    • Only for the RH side.


    1. Remove the emergency hammer caution plate.

  8. REMOVE REAR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS

      Apply protective tape to the outer surface of the vehicle body to prevent scratches.

    2. From the interior, insert piano wires between the vehicle body and back door glass as shown in the illustration.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to all wire ends.

      Note

      When separating the rear quarter window glass from the vehicle, be careful not to damage the vehicles paint or interior/exterior ornaments.

    4. Cut through the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the rear quarter window glass.

    5. Using a suction cup, remove the rear quarter window glass.

      Note

      Leave as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible when removing the rear quarter window glass.
