FUEL SEDIMENTER WARNING SWITCH ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BBHOE02

      Disconnect the B21 connector from the fuel sedimenter warning switch.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Conditon
      B21-1 - B21-2 Float position: top Below 1 Ω
      B21-1 - B21-2 Float position: bottom 10 kΩ or higher

      Tech Tips

      If the value is not as specified, replace the fuel sedimenter warning switch.
