TRANSMITTER BATTERY (w/o Smart Entry and Start System) REPLACEMENT


  1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY

      Use a screwdriver with the tip taped to pry open the cover.

      Remove the cover.

    3. A01BG4O

      Remove the module from the key.

      Note

      When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

    4. A01BEHG

      Use a coin, or other flat object, to pry open the module cover.

      Note

      When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

    5. A01BGER

      Remove the battery.

      Note

      When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

  2. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY


    1. A01BI1A

      Install a new battery with the positive side up as shown the illustration.

      Note

      When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

    2. Install the module cover.

      Install the module.

      Note

      When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

    4. A01BG9R

      Install the cover.

  3. INSPECT TRANSMITTER SUB-ASSEMBLY MODULE SET DOOR CONTROL


    1. Check that the LED on the key comes on when each switch is pressed.
