Inspect the fuse and relay before investigating the suspected areas shown in the table below. Inspect each malfunction circuit in numerical order for the corresponding symptoms.

Tech Tips

*1: Replace the transmitter battery with a new or normal one. Check that the door control transmitter light comes on three times when the transmitter switch is pressed three times. If not, there may be a malfunction in the door control transmitter.
*2: After confirming the result of the self-diagnostic mode, perform the following procedures:

If the normal wave is received, replace the instrument panel junction block assembly (body ECU).
If the recognition code does not match the key code, check that the key code can be registered in the rewrite or add mode of the recognition code registration.
If no DTCs are output, refer back to the problem symptoms table and proceed to the next step.
