POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM Back Door Lock Motor Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The door lock motor is built in the back door lock assembly.

The body ECU receives the driver door switch signal from the master switch and operates the door lock motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT BACK DOOR REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY


    1. A01BCDNE01

      Inspect the back door remote control assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the door lock motor.

      Standard
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

      		 Unlock

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      		 Lock

    NG

    REPLACE BACK DOOR REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY

    OK

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (BACK DOOR REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY - INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B)


    1. A01BCK3E01

      Disconnect the a3 connector.

    2. Disconnect the instrument panel J/B connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5A-25 - a3-2 (ACT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      5A-29 - a3-1 (ACT-) Always Below 1 Ω

    PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
