INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

Intermittent Operation Check (w/o Intermittent timing adjustment)
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (+1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (EW).
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the wiper switch to the INT position.
Operate the intermittent wiper relay and check the voltage between terminals 3 (+1) and 4 (EW).

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.

Front Washer Operation Check
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal 7 (WF) and a negative (-) lead to Body ground.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the washer switch on and off, and check the voltage between terminals 7 (WF) and Body ground.

Rear Washer Operation Check
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal 5 (WR) and a negative (-) lead to Body ground.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the washer switch on and off, and check the voltage between terminals 5 (WR) and Body ground.
