INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE NO. 2


    1. for Standard Body:

      Detach the 9 wire harness clamps and remove the instrument panel wire No. 2.

    2. for Wide Body:

      Detach the 11 wire harness clamps and remove the instrument panel wire No. 2.

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 1 (w/o Front Passenger Airbag)

      Detach the 10 claws and remove the instrument panel box door sub-assembly No. 1.

  3. REMOVE PASSENGER AIRBAG MOUNTING BASE (w/ Front Passenger Airbag)

    1. Remove the 5 screws <C> and passenger airbag mounting base.

  4. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws <C> and wire harness clamp bracket.

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION NO. 1


    1. Remove the instrument panel cushion No. 1.
