  1. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Inspect the power mirror motor.


      1. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the outer rear view mirror.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (MV)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        		 Turns upward (A)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (MV)

        		 Turns downward (B)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (MH)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        		 Turns left (C)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (MH)

        		 Turns right (D)
    2. A01BFY5E01

      Inspect the retract motor.


      1. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the outer rear view mirror.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Returns (Driving position)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Retracts

  2. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Inspect power the mirror motor.


      1. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the outer rear view mirror.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 5 (MV)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        		 Turns upward (A)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (MV)

        		 Turns downward (B)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (MH)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (COM)

        		 Turns left (C)

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (COM)
