DESCRIPTION
If the ECM detects a malfunction, the MIL illuminates. The ECM then records the DTC in its memory.

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the intelligent tester ON.
Enter the following menus: Power train / Engine / DTC.
Check if DTCs have been stored. Take notes if there are DTCs.
Enter the following menus: Power train / Engine / DTC / Clear.
Clear the DTC(s) Click here.
Check if the MIL turns OFF.

Disconnect the B9 ECM connector.
Turn the engine switch ON.
