FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

  • When replacing the fuel supply pump, common rail, cylinder block, cylinder head, cylinder head gasket or timing gear case, it is necessary to replace the fuel inlet pipe with a new one.

  • After removing the fuel inlet pipe, clean it with a brush and compressed air.


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    • Before replacing the fuel temperature sensor, be sure to clean the surrounding area.

    • When replacing the fuel temperature sensor, make sure that your hands are clean and do not use gloves, etc.


    1. Mount the fuel supply pump in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Using SST, remove the fuel temperature sensor.

    3. Remove the gasket from the fuel temperature sensor.
