The following items can be customized.
Note
When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
Record the current settings before customizing.
Customizing with the GTS
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Customize / Entry&Start.
Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Entry cancel function (manual operation)
Tech Tips
While the smart entry and start system is canceled, it is possible to lock and unlock the doors with the wireless operation, and the start system can be operated by holding the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly near the engine switch.
The following functions are disabled when the smart entry and start system is canceled.
Entry unlock/lock functions
Push-button start function
Key lock-in prevention function
Entry warning functions
When canceling the system through manual operation:
Make sure the following conditions are met:
The engine switch is off.
The driver door is closed.
The driver door is unlocked.
Press the unlock switch of the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly.
Open the driver door within 5 seconds of completing the step above (driver door: close condition → opened).
With the driver door open, press the unlock switch of the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly 2 times within 5 seconds of completing the step above.
Note
If the driver door is closed before or while pressing the unlock switch, the entry cancel setting mode will end.
Perform the following procedure within 30 seconds of completing the step above.
Close and open the driver door twice (driver door: open → closed → opened → closed → opened).
With the driver door open, press the unlock switch of the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly 2 times.
Note
If the driver door is closed before or while pressing the unlock switch, the entry cancel setting mode will end.
Close and open the driver door (driver door: open → closed → opened).
Close the driver door within 5 seconds (driver door: open → closed).
Check that the wireless buzzer sounds twice (short beeps) to confirm that the smart entry and start system has been canceled.
Perform the following procedure to restore the smart entry and start system to the active state from the canceled state.
Perform the procedures to cancel the smart entry and start system again.
Check that the wireless buzzer sounds once (short beep) to confirm that the smart entry and start system has been restored to the active state.
Tech Tips
The system changes between the canceled state and the active state each time the procedure to cancel the system through manual operation is performed.
The buzzer sounds twice when the system changes from the active state to the canceled state, and sounds once when the system changes from the canceled state to the active state.

Customizing with the combination meter assembly (for Segment Display Type)
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Display the odometer screen.
Press and hold the ODO/TRIP switch for 5 seconds or more to display the settings screen.
After selecting "Eco On" or "EcoOFF", press and hold the ODO/TRIP switch for 2 seconds or more to exit the settings screen.
Inspect T-BELT mode display (Engine Type Diesel)
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the ODO/TRIP display screen to "TRIP B", and turn the ignition switch off.
While pressing the ODO/TRIP change switch, turn the ignition switch to ON to blink the T-BELT warning light, and then continue pressing the switch for 5 seconds or more.
Release the ODO/TRIP switch, then press the ODO/TRIP switch again within 5 seconds.
Transfer to the T-BELT mode, and the following initial setting value is displayed.
km: 15 (0,000 km) or 9 (0,000 mile)
Tech Tips
If the meter has been replaced before, the displayed value might not be the same as the initial setting value.
Rewriting replacement setting value (Engine Type Diesel)
Press the ODO/TRIP switch and rewrite the replacement setting value.

Tech Tips
Every press of the ODO/TRIP switch adds 10,000 km or 10,000 mile and the meter returns to 10,000 km or 10,000 mile when 200,000 km or 200,000 mile is reached. If switch operation is not performed within 30 seconds, the setting value will not be changed. The display screen turns to "TRIP B", and the mode returns to the normal mode.
T-BELT mode completion (Engine Type Diesel)
Note
If the T-BELT mode is completed, even though belt replacement or meter replacement has not been performed, the T-BELT warning is reset.
After setting the replacement setting value, hold the ODO/TRIP switch on for more than 5 seconds, then release the ODO/TRIP switch.
Check that the display is changed to "TRIP B" and the warning light goes off.
