SFI SYSTEM (w/o Secondary Air Injection System) DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

  1. DATA LIST

    Tech Tips

By reading the Data List displayed on the intelligent tester, you can check values, including those of the switches, sensors, and actuators, without removing any parts. Reading the Data List as the first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening diagnostic time.

    Note

In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when determining whether or not a part is faulty.

    1. Warm up the engine.

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    3. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    5. Turn the tester on.

    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List.

    7. Check the values by referring to the table below.

      Tech Tips

If no idling conditions are specified, the transmission gear selector lever should be in the neutral position, and the A/C switch and all accessory switches should be OFF.
