MASS AIR FLOW METER ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Start the engine.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ETC / Data List / MAF, and read the intake air mass.

      Standard
      Between 1.0 and 270.0 gm/sec

      If the result is not as specified, check the mass air flow meter, or wire harness and ECM.
