ROOF HEADLINING (for Double Cab) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

      Remove the 4 screws and front door scuff plate LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  3. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

      Remove the 2 clips and quarter panel lower LH.

  4. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER RH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  5. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP PLUG (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  6. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY NO.2 LH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip assembly No. 2 LH.

  7. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY NO.2 RH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  8. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. A01KHLB

      Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 clips and front pillar garnish LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  9. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM RH (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  12. REMOVE ROOM LAMP ASSEMBLY NO.1

      Using a screwdriver, remove the room lamp lens.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and room lamp assembly No. 1.

  13. REMOVE LH VISOR ASSEMBLY (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove the 2 screws and LH visor assembly.

  14. REMOVE RH VISOR ASSEMBLY (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  15. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a roof moulding remover, remove the visor holder.

  16. REMOVE ROOF PANEL REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove the 4 bolts and roof panel reinforcement sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE ROOF SILENCER NO.2 (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. A01KIJE

      Using a clip remover, remove the 17 clips.

    2. Remove the roof silencer No. 2.

  18. REMOVE ROOF RACK ASSEMBLY INNER (HIGH ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove the 3 bolts and roof rack assembly inner stay.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and roof rack assembly inner board.

  19. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING TRIM (HIGH ROOF ROOF TYPE)

  20. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip sub-assembly.

  21. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)


    1. Remove a claw and cover.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and inner rear view mirror assembly.

  22. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (NORMAL ROOF ROOF TYPE)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and the roof headlining.

  23. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (HIGH ROOF ROOF TYPE)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 10 clips and the roof headlining.

  24. REMOVE ROOF NO.3 HEADLINING (HIGH ROOF ROOF TYPE)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and the roof headlining No.3.

  25. REMOVE ROOF NO.2 HEADLINING (HIGH ROOF ROOF TYPE)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and the roof headlining No.2.

  26. REMOVE ROOF SILENCER PAD NO.3 (HIGH ROOF ROOF TYPE)
