REAR DOOR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear door handle assembly with 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH (W/ POWER DOOR LOCK)


    1. A01KIDY

      Engage the pin of the rear door lock actuator with the guide of rear door lock assembly, and install with 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating parts of the rear door lock assembly.

    2. Apply adhesive to the 3 screws.

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

    3. Install the rear door lock assembly with 3 screws.

      Torque:
      4.9 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 43 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the 2 links.

    5. Connect the connector.

  4. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  5. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  6. INSTALL REAR DOOR REAR GUIDE BRACKET UPPER

  7. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

      Install a new service hole cover to the door panel.

      Tech Tips


      • When installing the service hole cover, pull out the links and connectors through the service hole cover.

      • There should be no wrinkles or folds after attaching the service hole cover.

      • After attaching the service hole cover, sealing condition should be confirmed.

  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY

      With the door window fully closed, install the plate and regulator handle with a snap ring as shown.
