REAR DOOR DISASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Installation is in the reverse order of removal. But, the installation is indicated only when it has a point.

  • In the RH side, work in the same procedure as in the LH side.

  1. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY

      Pull off the snap ring with a shop rag and remove the regulator handle and plate.

  2. REMOVE REAR ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01KG99

      Remove the 2 screws and rear armrest.

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the screw and slide the bezel forward.

    2. Disconnect the handle from the link, and remove the handle.

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Using a screwdriver, remove the rear door trim board.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  6. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP OUTER

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP CHANNEL

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR GUIDE BRACKET UPPER

  10. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A01KFI2

      Pass the notch point shown in the illustration through, pull it out to the front side of the vehicle and remove the rear door glass.

  11. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  12. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 3 bolts and regulator sub-assembly.

  13. APPLICATION BODY GREASE


    1. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating parts of the regulator sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR LOWER LH

      Remove the 2 bolts and rear door window frame.

  15. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01KHRJ

      Disconnect the connector. (w/ Power door lock, w/ wireless door lock)

    2. Remove 3 screws.

    3. Disconnect the link.

    4. Remove the rear door lock assembly.

  16. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH (W/ POWER DOOR LOCK)

      Remove the 2 screws and rear door lock actuator assembly.

  17. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove 2 bolts and outside handle assembly.
