FRONT DOOR REASSEMBLY

INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH (W/ POWER DOOR LOCK)

INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

1. Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating parts of the door lock assembly.

2. Apply adhesive to the 3 screws.

   Adhesive
   Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

3. Install the door lock assembly with 3 screws.

   Torque:

   5 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

4. Connect the link and connector.

5. Install the front door lock control knob.

INSTALL FRONT DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE LH

1. Install the front door handle assembly with 2 bolts.

   Torque:

   5 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

2. Connect the 2 links.

3. Install a new seal to the panel.

INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (W/ POWER WINDOW)

1. Install the power window regulator motor assembly with 3 screws.

INSPECT FUNCTION OF POWER WINDOW (W/ POWER WINDOW)

1. Inspect manually operated function.

   
   

   1. Turn the ignition switch ON.

   2. Check that the door glass operates upward when applying the power window regulator master switch to the UP and the door operates downward when applying the power window regulator master switch to the DOWN.

   3. Check that the door glass operates upward when applying the each power window regulator switch to the UP and the door operates downward when applying the power window regulator switch to the DOWN.

   4. Check that passenger's and all the rear door glasses do not operate when the window lock switch to the LOCK.

2. Inspect the AUTO operation function.

   
   

   1. Turn the ignition switch ON.

   2. Check that the AUTO DOWN operation is made and the door glass is full open when applying the power window regulator master switch to the DOWN.

   3. Check that the AUTO UP operation is made and the door glass is fully closed when applying the power window regulator master switch to the UP.

   4. Check that the door glass stops when applying the power window regulator switch to the "UP" during AUTO DOWN operation.

   5. Check that the door glass stops when applying the power window regulator switch to the DOWN during AUTO UP operation. (if the operation to the up or down is continued, the function will shift to the manual operation)

INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

   Install a new service hole cover to the door panel.

   Tech Tips

   
   

   • When installing the service hole cover, pull out the links and connectors through the service hole cover.

   • There should be no wrinkles or folds after attaching the service hole cover.

   • After attaching the service hole cover, sealing condition should be confirmed.
