CLEAN BACK WINDOW GLASS
Using a cleaner, clean the weatherstrip contacting surface of the body and glass.
INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
Install the back window glass weatherstrip to the back window glass.
INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS (SINGLE CAB CAB TYPE)

Apply a working cord along the weatherstrip groove, as shown in the illustration.

Apply primer and adhesive to the weatherstrip on the surface with body as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not apply too much primer.
Let the primer coating dry for 3 minutes or more.
Hold the glass in position on the body.
Install the glass by pulling the cord from the room side, while pushing weatherstrip from the outside with your open hand.
To mark the glass fit in place, tap from the outside with your open hand.
INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS (DOUBLE CAB CAB TYPE)

Apply a working cord along the weatherstrip groove, as shown in the illustration.

Apply soapy water to the contact surface of the body and the weatherstrip lip as shown in the illustration.
Hold the glass in position on the body.
Install the glass by pulling the cord from the room side, while pushing weatherstrip from the outside with your open hand.
To mark the glass fit in place, tap from the outside with your open hand.
INSTALL BACK WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP KEY (DOUBLE CAB CAB TYPE)

Apply soapy water to the weatherstrip and the weatherstrip key as shown in the illustration.
Install the back window weatherstrip key.
Put protected tape on the outside of the upper side of the weatherstrip to protect the paint and glass.

Apply adhesive between the weatherstrip and body from the outside as shown in the illustration.
Remove the protected tape.
Using a cleaner, clean the weatherstrip contacting surface of the body and glass.
WATER LEAK CHECK AND REPAIR
Conduct a leak test after the adhesive has completely hardened.
Seal any leaks with sealant.
