FRONT DOOR LOCK INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY RH

      Check the door lock operation.


      1. Check the door lock operation when the battery voltage is applied between the terminals of the motor inside the door lock.

        Measuring condition Operation

        Battery positive - Terminal 2

        Battery negative - Terminal 3

        		 Lock

        Battery positive - Terminal 3

        Battery negative - Terminal 2

        		 Unlock

        If continuity is not as specified, replace the actuator.

  2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

      *b NEUTRAL
      *c UNLOCK

      Check the continuity for door key lock and unlock switch.


      1. Check the continuity between each terminal in each position of the switch lever.

        Switch position Tester connection Specified condition
        Lock 1 - 2 Continuity
        NEUTRAL - -
        Unlock 2 - 3 Continuity

        If continuity is not as specified, replace the actuator.
