FRONT WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both sides.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the front wiper arm head cap.

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM LH

      Remove the nut and front wiper arm LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM RH

      Remove the nut and front wiper arm RH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT WASHER NOZZLE HOLDER

      Remove the nut and front washer nozzle holder.

  5. REMOVE FRONT VALANCE PANEL LH

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 pins.

    2. Disengage the claw and 3 guides and remove the front valance panel.

  6. REMOVE FRONT VALANCE PANEL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR GROMMET (for LH Side)

      Slide the outer mirror grommet, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove it.

  8. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR GROMMET (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR BEZEL (for LH Side)

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the outer mirror bezel.

  10. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR BEZEL (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER LH

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the pin and remove the outer mirror cover.

  12. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE FRONT PANEL COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using a clip remover, disengage the 8 clips and remove the front panel cover sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR & BRACKET ASSEMBLY

      Pull back the boot.

    2. Remove the wiper link assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

      Remove the 4 bolts and front wiper motor & bracket assembly.
