INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT SWITCH

   *a	Wire Harness Side:

   Inspect rear fog light switch circuit

   
   

   1. Disconnect the connector from rear fog light switch and inspect the connector on wire harness side, as shown in the chart.

      Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
      1 - Ground	Constant	Continuity
      2 - Ground	Headlight dimmer switch OFF → TAIL or HEAD	0V → 10 - 14 V
      3 - Ground	Constant	10 - 14 V
      5 - Ground	Headlight dimmer switch OFF → ON	No continuity → Continuity
      7 - Ground	Constant	Continuity
      8 - Ground	Constant	Continuity

2. Inspect rear fog light operation.

   
   

   1. Turn ignition switch ON.

   2. Check the rear fog light condition at each switch is operated, as shown in the chart.

      Condition	Rear fog light operation
      Headlight dimmer switch OFF → HEAD, Rear fog light switch ON	Rear fog light lights up
      Headlight dimmer switch OFF → TAIL, *1 Front fog light switch ON, *2 Rear fog light switch ON *1: Except Europe *2: Europe	Rear fog light lights up
