FRONT WIPER MOTOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT WIPER MOTOR & BRACKET ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KGDS

      Install 4 bolts and the front wiper & bracket assembly.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      *a Coat The Grease

      Coat the crank arm pivot with grease.

  2. INSTALL FRONT PANEL COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KE9K

      Take the windshield moulding off with the clip remover.

    2. Install the panel cover sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL FRONT WASHER NOZZLE HOLDER

  4. INSTALL FR WIPER ARM RH

      *a Serration Of Wiper Pivot

      Clean the serration of wiper pivot with wire-brush.

    2. A01KGJEE01

      Install the FR wiper arm RH with a not so that the FR wiper blade will be the position shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Installation should be performed in the automatic stop position.

    3. Operate the wiper, check that the windshield moulding and the wiper blade do not interfere with each other.

  5. INSTALL FR WIPER ARM LH

      *a Serration Of Wiper Pivot

      Clean the serration of wiper pivot with wire-brush.

    2. A01KFQB

      Install the FR wiper arm RH with a not so that the FR wiper blade will be the position shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Installation should be performed in the automatic stop position.

    3. Operate the wiper, check that the windshield moulding and the wiper blade do not interfere with each other.
