REAR HEATER UNIT (for Double Cab) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    1. Remove the 3 screws and rear door scuff plate LH.

  2. REMOVE REAR HEATER ASSEMBLY

    1. Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clamp attached to inlet heater water hose E and slide it to disconnect the hose.

      Tech Tips

      Prepare a container to collect the any coolant that spill out.

    2. Using needle-nose pliers, grip the claws of the clamp attached to outlet heater water hose E and slide it to disconnect the hose.

      Prepare a container to collect the any coolant that spill out.

    3. Remove the floor carpet.

      Tech Tips

      Turn back the floor carpet so that the rear heater assembly can be removed.

      Remove the 3 bolts and the nut.

    5. Disconnect the connector.

    6. Remove the rear heater assembly from the body.
