AIR CONDITIONING UNIT REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01KGMX

      Remove the screws.

    2. Disengage the meshing of clips to remove the radiator grille.

  2. SEPARATE HEATER WATER INLET HOSE B

      Remove the bolt and heater water bracket.

    2. A01KHCX

      Slide the clip and disconnect the heater water inlet hose B.

  3. SEPARATE HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE B


    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the heater water outlet hose B.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts<F> and 7 bolts<A><B>.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the instrument panel sub-assembly.

  5. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KHCQ

      Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect bracket master cylinder reservoir sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1


    1. A01KIQI

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and instrument panel brace sub- assembly No. 1.

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  8. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER UPR

    1. Remove the 2 screws and steering column cover UPR.

  9. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER LWR

    A01KHSI

    1. Remove the clip, 2 screws and steering column cover LWR.

  10. REMOVE AIR DUCT NO. 2 (LHD STEERING POSITION TYPE)

      Remove the 2 clips and air duct No. 2.

    2. w/o Cold area:

      Remove the clip and air duct No. 2.

  11. REMOVE AIR DUCT NO. 1

      Remove the 2 clips and air duct No. 1.

  12. SEPARATE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY

  13. SEPARATE STEERING COLUMN TUBE ASSEMBLY LOWER


    1. A01KENP

      Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the steering column tube assembly lower.

  14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01KGFG

      Remove the 2 bolts, 4 nuts and instrument panel reinforcement.

  15. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KFM9

      Remove the 2 bolts and windshield washer jar.

    2. A01KFSD

      Disconnect the hose and connector from washer pump.

  16. REMOVE AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 1


    1. A01KHYO

      Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the relay block assembly.

    2. A01KEEW

      Remove the screw and disconnect the relay block assembly.

    3. A01KH6U

      Remove the bolt.

    4. Disconnect the blower resistor connector.

    5. A01KGO4

      Disconnect the relay block assembly.

    6. A01KFLG

      Remove the 2 bolts, 4 screws and air duct sub-assembly No. 1.

  17. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY LWR


    1. A01KG8P

      Remove the screw and defroster nozzle assembly LWR.

  18. SEPARATE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KFOM

      Remove the 2 screws and disconnect the skid control ECU assembly.

  19. SEPARATE PREHEATING TIMER (5L ENGINE TYPE)


    1. A01KEH5

      Remove the 3 screws and disconnect the preheating timer.

  20. SEPARATE ECM (2KD-FTV ENGINE TYPE)


    1. A01KI4K

      Remove the 4 screws and disconnect the ECM.

  21. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KG7G

      Release the 2 claws, disconnect the connector.

    2. A01KEEJ

      Disconnect the outer cable from the clamp.

    3. A01KHMY

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and heater radiator assembly.

  22. REMOVE HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT NO. 2


    1. A01KGUV

      Remove the 2 clips and heater to register duct No. 2.

  23. SEPARATE HEATER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the outer cable from the clamp.

    2. Remove the inner cable.

  24. REMOVE AIRMIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
