VANE PUMP (for 1KD-FTV) REMOVAL


  1. DRAIN POWER STEERING FLUID

  2. REMOVE NO.3 AIR HOSE


    1. A01KHOME01

      Slide the clip and disconnect the vacuum hose.

    2. A01KERFE01

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the No. 3 air hose.

  3. SEPARATE PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the union bolt and disconnect the pressure feed tube from the vane pump.

    2. Remove the gasket from the pressure feed tube.

  4. SEPARATE NO.1 OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 reservoir to pump hose from the vane pump.

  5. REMOVE VANE PUMP


    1. A01KHN5E01

      Disconnect the 3 connectors from the intake air connector and throttle body. then disconnect the wire harness clamp from the bracket.

    2. A01KFYLE01

      Disconnect the oil level sensor connector from the left side of the oil pan, then disconnect the wire harness clamp from the bracket.

    3. A01KHQT

      Disconnect the 2 connectors from the injection (Supply) pump.

    4. A01KILIE01

      Remove the 2 nuts and the vane pump.

    5. Remove the vane pump O-ring from the vane pump.
