LOAD SENSING PROPORTIONING VALVE REMOVAL


  1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  2. REMOVE LOAD SENSING W/SPRING VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect shackle bracket from the rear axle.

    2. A01KFMD

      Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the 3 brake lines from the valve body.

    3. Remove the 4 valve bracket mounting bolts and LSPV assembly.

  3. REMOVE LOAD SENSING PROPORTIONING VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt, nut and 2 plate washers.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and bracket from the valve body.

      Using pliers, remove the clip and load sensing spring assembly from the valve body.

  4. INSPECT LOAD SENSING PROPORTIONING VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. Inspect valve piston pin and load sensing spring contact surface for wear

      Wear limit
      0.7 mm (0.028 in.)

  5. REMOVE LOAD SENSING SPRING BUSH & BOOT KIT

    1. Remove the nut, cushion retainer and shackle bracket No.1.

      Remove the bolt, nut, 2 plate washers, No.1 shackle and No.2 shackle assembly.

    3. Remove the lock nut.

    4. Remove the No.2 shackle, washer and nut from the No.1 shackle.

      Remove the 4 bushings, 2 collars and 2 rubber plates from the load sensing spring.

    6. Remove the load sensing valve boot.

    7. Remove the load sensing spring boot.
