REAR BRAKE (for 2 Leading Shoe Type) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE BRAKE SHOES (w/o Auto adjuster Type)

    1. Using SST, remove the outer side return spring.

      Using SST, remove the cups, hold-down springs and pins.

    3. Slide the shoes and remove them together with the inner side return spring.

    4. Remove the inner side return spring.

  2. REMOVE BRAKE SHOES (w/ Auto adjuster Type)


    1. Using SST, remove the 2 return springs.

    2. Using SST, remove the cups, hold-down springs, and pins from both of the side shoes.

  3. REMOVE LH, FRONT OR UPPER REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. Using union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinders. Use a container to catch the brake fluid.

    2. Remove the bolts and wheel cylinder.

  4. REMOVE LH, REAR OR LOWER REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. Using union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinders. Use a container to catch the brake fluid.

    2. Remove the bolts and wheel cylinder.

  5. REMOVE REAR WHEEL CYLINDER CUP KIT

    1. Remove the adjusting bolt and nut.

    2. Remove the adjusting nut dust seal.

    3. Remove the adjusting nut seat.

    4. Remove the screw and adjusting support spring. (w/ Automatic adjuster)

    5. Remove the 2 wheel cylinder boots.

    6. Remove the wheel cylinder pistons.

    7. Remove the 2 spring seat and compression spring.

    8. Remove the 2 wheel cylinder cups from each wheel cylinder piston.
