INSTALL VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY
Temporarily install the vane pump assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.
INSTALL VANE PUMP PULLEY
Install the pulley to the vane pump shaft.
Using SST, stop the pulley rotation and torque the nut.
INSTALL VANE PUMP V BELT
Install the vane pump V belt to the vane pump pulley and crank shaft pulley.
Tighten the bolt and adjust the vane pump V belt.

Tech Tips
"New belt" refers to a belt which has been less than 5 minutes on a running engine.
"Used belt" refers to a belt which has been used on a running engine for 5 minutes or more.

Tighten the nut.
CONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY
Connect the pressure feed tube assembly with the union bolt and a new gasket.
CONNECT OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE NO.1
Connect the oil reservoir to pump hose No.1.
Install the clip.
ADD POWER STEERING FLUID
BLEED POWER STEERING FLUID
Check the fluid level.
Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it with stands.
Turn the steering wheel.
With the engine stopped, turn the wheel slowly from lock to lock several times.
Lower the vehicle.
Start the engine.
Run the engine at idle for a few minutes.
Turn the steering wheel.
With the engine idling, turn the wheel to the left or right full lock position and keep it there for 2 - 3 seconds. Then turn the wheel to the opposite full lock position and keep it there for 2 - 3 seconds (step A).
Repeat step A several times.
Stop the engine.

Check for foaming or emulsification.
Especially, if the system has to be bled twice because of foaming or emulsification, check for fluid leakage in the system.
Check the fluid level.
