BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL BRACKET ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 3 clutch pedal bracket mount bolts.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and airbag sensor assembly. (w/ Airbag)

    3. Remove the bolt and turn signal flasher. (RHD STEERING POSITION TYPE)

    4. Remove the check connector. (RHD STEERING POSITION TYPE)

    5. Disconnect the brake tube clamp.

    6. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and brake pedal bracket assembly.

  4. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the clip and master cylinder push rod pin.

    2. Remove the bolt, nut and pedal assembly.

    3. Remove the torsion spring, 2 brake pedal bushes and collar from the pedal sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the pedal pad.
