SKID CONTROL ECU (for 1KD-FTV) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER

    1. Remove the clip and bolt.

    2. Detach the 5 clips and remove the lower instrument cover.

  3. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER

    1. Remove the 2 clips and 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the 3 clips and remove the lower center instrument cover.

  4. REMOVE ECM

      Remove the 3 screws and remove the ECM.

    2. Disconnect the 6 connectors from the ECM.

      Remove the 2 screws and remove the No. 1 ECM bracket.

    4. Remove the 2 screws and remove the No. 2 ECM bracket.

  5. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws and detach the ECM bracket.

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the skid control ECU.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
