ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM TC and CG Terminal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

Connecting terminals Tc and CG of the DLC3 causes the ECU to display the DTC by flashing the ABS warning light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT DLC3


    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.

      Measure voltage between terminals Tc and CG of DLC3.

      OK
      Voltage: 10 - 14 V

    OK

    CHECK ABS WARNING LIGHT Click here

    NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - SKID CONTROL ECU, DLC3 - BODY GROUND)


    1. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between terminal TC of DLC3 and skid control ECU, and CG of the DLC3 and body ground Click here.

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

    CHECK AND REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

  3. CHECK ABS WARNING LIGHT

      Using SST, connect the terminals Tc and CG of the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

    3. Check the ABS warning right.

      OK
      Warning light blinking
