5L VACUUM PUMP DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP PULLEY

    1. Using soft jaws on the vise, place vacuum pump in the vise, and remove the pulley lock nut and pulley.

  2. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP UNION

    1. Remove the union bolt, union and 2 gaskets.

  3. REMOVE CHECK VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the check valve and gasket.

  4. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP SHAFT

    1. Remove the 4 screws and end cover.

    2. A01KEL9

      Using a plastic hammer, tap out the rotor shaft with bearing.

  5. REMOVE STOP RING


    1. Remove the oil seal stop ring.

    2. A01KHW4

      Using a press, remove the bearing from the rotor shaft.

  6. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP BLADE A


    1. Remove the 2 screws and end plate.

    2. Remove the rotor and 5 pump blades A.

  7. REMOVE O-RING

  8. REMOVE OIL SEAL

    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the oil seal.
