REAR AXLE HUB BOLT (for Single Tire) REPLACEMENT

Replace the RH side by the same procedures with the LH side.


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM

  3. REMOVE REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT

      Using SST, remove the hub bolt.

      SST
      09650-17011

    2. Remove the rear axle brake drum gasket from the rear brake drum sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT


    1. A01KIMY

      Install a washer and a nut to a new hub bolt as shown in the illustration, and install the hub bolt with torquing the nut.

  5. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM


    1. Install a new rear axle brake drum gasket to the rear brake drum sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

    Torque:
    14 inch tire
    135 N*m  { 1377 kgf*cm, 100 ft.*lbf }
    15 inch tire
    170 N*m  { 1734 kgf*cm, 125 ft.*lbf }
